How is this different from every other spin-wheel app?
Most spin-wheel apps report spins and email signups and call it a day. Profiter keeps a holdout control group that never sees the wheel, then measures the difference in profit per visitor. You find out whether the popup actually made money after discounts and shipping — not just whether people played.
Can shoppers cheat the wheel or force a jackpot?
No. The winning slice is chosen by a cryptographically secure RNG on our server, against the odds and inventory limits you set. The browser is only told which slice to ease onto after the decision is made, so there's nothing to tamper with client-side.
Do customers have to copy a discount code?
Never. Each win creates a single-use discount through Shopify Functions and applies it through the cart automatically, so the offer is already waiting at checkout.
What counts toward my plan's pageviews?
Each time the popup is served to a visitor counts as one pageview. Free includes 1,000 per month, Growth 25,000, and Pro 150,000. You get clear warnings at 80% and 95% before anything is capped.
